If it don't say "Made in Switzerland" it ain't a Wild or Wild/Leica They are too long in tooth and no parts available except organ donors bought on ebay for the purpose. I am not suggesting anyone buy these either. But they are a joy to behold and especially to use. None of these sold in great numbers because they were much more expensive than other lesser offerings. They did make a zoom in Wetzlar called the Elvar. They are not zooms but have paired objectives. That comes with some distortion but unabiguous range location. These are Greenough (Gruenow) type scopes with highly converging lenses that give a lot of depth information. The example in this auction was probably built in the early 1960s. They are built like tanks uncompromising in their optical and mechanical quality. Here is an example of a Leitz stereo sold by the same guy that Lukeness got his Wild M400 from. Which is to say SUPERB! They had the same snap to their images that Wild scopes (which they were later merged with) have.
They didn't make a lot of stereos there in Wetzlar but the ones they did make were just like their compound microscopes. They ONLY used it on their 35mm cameras and if you bought a microscope camera from them in a format other than 35mm it said E.
